Scholarships, bursaries and school-specific projects On behalf of Rocky View Schools, I am pleased to inform you we are in full swing with regards to Links to Learning 2010! So far we have raised more than $40,000 in support of citizenship awards, academic scholarships, suppplementary learning materials, extra-curricular activities, and a breakfast and lunch program.
About twenty percent of the proceeds from Links to Learning 2010 is ear-marked for bursaries, scholarships and awards sponsored by RVS' Board of Trustees. Remaining funds will go directly to schools for projects that help them meet their goals and objectives.
If you are a returning sponsor, we thank you very much for helping us build our tournament into a fun and profitable fundraiser. If you are a new partner, welcome! We are very excited to be in our third year of this tournament and appreciate your support.
